Going up?

Book cover created for Dr. Conway and Jada Edwards for their latest book on relationships Going Up?. They wanted something to show the importance of doing the work together – taking the stairs instead of the elevator. So I used color to show the journey and how it changed them if they took the hard way together. The colors become a part of the couple on the stairs as they climb. They hold hands to support each other in the climb, but also because the journey brings them closer together. The couple in the elevator remain gray. They may appear they are farther ahead but they missed the opportunity to grow and connect by trying to skip the challenges the stairs would bring. The client was extremely pleased.

Thirst

Thirst is a book about how we often look to substitutes to satisfy our thirst. The client loves white space and wanted a visual comparison between the water we desire and what we fill our cups with.
